Since returning to Australia Jamie has represented the Brisbane Roar Football Club since 2014 and has recently been voted the Hyundai A league goalkeeper of the year, the prestigious Gary Wilkins Medalist, and Brisbane Roar Players’ Player of the Year.
Jamie’s
Story.
After dropping out of school, Jamie completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, writing his dissertation in human genetic testing in English professional football of the ACTN3 gene. He is currently the only professional athlete in Australia to undertake a PhD and it is this understanding that has allowed Jamie to have a unique perspective on high performance, leadership, and developing a successful culture.
Jamie is passionate about helping the future of Australia, his experiences has allowed him to empathise with people from many different cultures and it’s his vision to raise awareness and educate people who are seeking to better themselves in order to pursue their dreams.
